Who is being funded?

• Individual persons planning to set up a company

• Existing companies and self-employed professionals who are part of the media business and have their principal offices or a subsidiary in Saxony-Anhalt

What is being financed?

• Interim financing of filmprojects
• Preliminary financing
• Investments in media infrastructure
• Overhead costs
• Intangible goods, e. g. the purchase of rights and scripts

• Duration of the funding is up to 15 years
• The minimum amount is EUR 25,000
• The maximum amount is EUR 3,000,000
• Conditions that do not constitute a benefit according to European legislation can be individually agreed upon
• Up to two years free of redemption

Joint financing together with the applicant's principal bank is preferred.

• Complementary financing by the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung is possible. More information on how to apply for funding can be found at www.mdm-online.de
